Native 5 and Paramilitary 3. Fakes?

I bought these second hand and just wanted everyones opinion on whether they are real or not.

I bought them from 2 different people, a day apart.

Both are real. Why would you think either are fake?

Because I paid $60 for the PM3 and $80 for the Native. They were craigslist purchases

also the guy who sold me the pm3 I had over a dozen other Spydercos for sale. had them all in a backpack in his trunk and we did the deal in a parking lot.

Not fake but quite possibly not rightfully his to sell either

I am not a super expert - but I have 2 PM2's and a bunch of other Spydies and those look legit to me.

You know the old saying; "if it's too good to be true, then it probably is". Either the guy was desperate or stole them, or both.

Guaranteed those were stolen. Good deal for you, what a shame for the guy who lost those. I stay the **** away from Craigslist. They do look real though.

How is the cutting power? How performs the steel / blade?
In general the steel is not that Quality as the stamps says...

I guess I never thought about the possibility that they were stolen, I was only concerned about the authenticity.

I bought them from different sellers, 2 days apart. I innitially only wanted one of them, but one of the sellers stopped answering my emails, so after a day I contacted the different seller and made arrangements to meet up, the first seller got back to me and said he would accept my offer, so I ended up buying both. I negotiated them both down a good 20-30%, so those prices were not the asking prices. The Native 5 Seller had just the one knife to sell. The PM3 seller had over a dozen more Spyderco's all in boxes. He also asked if I liked Benchmades because he had a bunch of those for sale too.

Do the liners of the Para 3 have a small "w" type stamp on the edges? It'll be on the "finger side" (or blade travel side) of the liners.
