I wouldn't try that. Just send it to warranty, if they can't fix it no one can. If it is a defect you'll have a new knife.

I have the same problem with the Mini Police necklace I wear. There is nothing in the lock. It acts like it has no lock. Maybe it's considered jewlery and is just for show. Does anyone know if it should be better?

Well I said there were 2 on E-bay, now there is only one. I just bought the other one. I think that will make 31. I can hardly wait. I just love G-10.
Thanks for the description Deacon.

Stevie Ray, You must be talking about Sulphur High School. They usually come close to going to state. So I'd say the answer is Yes.

Deacon,
Thanks for mentioning Teds page. I just found the info I was asking about in another thread.
As for the Newbie questions. My advice is... be carful. I bought my first SpYderco knife last Oct. & at last count I have 30.
I would say my favorite EDC is the Delica. But that isn't the only ...

5GS Does anyone know about it

Does anyone know the model name and time frame for model #5GS? There are 2 on e-bay with G-10 handels. It looks to be about the size of a Delica.

I like the dates too.
If we can't have the dates maybe SpYderco could come out with a reference guide to help date what's out there, then put out supplements at the end of each year.
That would give us all something extra to buy from SpYderco each year.

I just received a response to an e-mail from ALLTHE BEST DEALS (e-bay) as to why they were canceling all of there auctions. It said that they had been robbed and had lost all of there current stock. I hope they have a good Ins. co that doesn't give them the run around.

When a bolt is "cross threaded" in a threaded bolt hole, and is forced to go in , then when it is removed the threads are usually galled. This happens usually when 2 diffrent metals are forced to rub together.
