Here is my new "terre mer" ("land and sea") knife from Ile-De-Ré (France). Alenox 18 cr steel, many wood for handle (olivier, cocobolo, chêne, ébène, wengué, teck, carbon fiber, old boat wood, acacia et cyprès from l’île de Ré). A strong EDC ! Let see the beast :

I have seen this week two blue Dodo PE for 60 Euros each in a French KnifeShop... and one Massad Ayoob for 110 Euros. Discontinued models are sold at low price here ! ...because they are considered as old knives.

The DoDo is not dead :eek: ! I have seen 2 dodo for sale in a French KnifeShop, new in box, blue PE... 65 Euros each !!! (the blue g10 look a little old, bad storage ?)

Tactical, for me, is the capacity to adapt yourself at any situation... not a good term for objects. A knife, a piece of paper, a watch... could be in your tactical way if you have it when you need it. Every object you use to adapt your life to your environement is "tactical".
