I used a lemon to get the Patina on my OPINEL.. just squeeze some lemon juice every 5 mins for half hour on both sides ..
if you don't like it you can use 220 or 300 sandpaper to remove it and start again.


This thread is deadly...and as such I've decided to try to patina a knife of my own ...

How about the Delica zdp-189..
You get lightweight and a super steel in a great knife..
I have all the zdp line-up and I EDC the Delica the most..

My Delica 4 ffg orange was my first spyderco and I carry it all the time either in my pocket or in my backpack.

with and without !!

The Caly 3.5 is great for me... And also most of the knives like the , Manix, PM 2.etc..

I just bought a user 3.5 Caly Super Blue and I easily removed the old patina and put my personal touch to it now..
Today I got a user PARA-1 - D2 but the Patina is much harder or almost impossible to remove any tip's or suggestions..
