I was keeping all the boxes right up until a couple of days ago, but then I had to move to a new apartment, decided to ditch boxes for all the Spydies that have been used, I still have 3 brand new knives, boxes for which I kept of course.

Hey M55, a similar request was also made at a thread entitled "Manix XL Wow'. I am anxious to see some picture comparisions with teh Manix XL. I want one, but you know how it is. So many knives and only so few coins.

Yep, and now after seeing those pics I have settled on the Native 5 as my ...

I still haven't quite settled on survival knives yet. So far my survival knife has been a Spyderco Forester which performed well, thick rounded spine, flat grind and a convex edge, all make it a great batoning and chopping knife and I really put it to some use this past summer.

However, I think ...

I've love Emerson's CQC-8 family i.e. Horseman, 8 and Super-8, as well as their clip-point, bowie style blades but the high price combined with what you get for the price has always put me off, simply cannot justify the cost in my mind.

154CM is not a high-end expensive steel and titanium liner ...

Comparison Pic Request: Native 5 vs Manix 2 vs Manix 2 XL

A humble request to those lucky enough to have these 3 knives, sitting next to each other.

I'd also appreciate if you threw in a Delica 4 FFG and even an Endura 4 FFG, actually FFG is only a preference, regular Delica and Endura 4s would work just as well.

Thank you.

I'll have to try that out, see if I can find peameal bacon here... I've seen American style smoked back bacon but not proper peameal bacon.

I rarely take shots, but if I do it's either tequila or vodka, neither of which I can stand otherwise.

I sip scotch or bourbon, red wine and guzzle beer, though I haven't had a drink in 4 months now, will do on christmas and looking forward to it after a nice break!

This is a "ludicrous" statement. The Pakastani defense establishment at the highest levels is and has been very secular. They nourished the Taliban, a cult of religious fascist nutcases not because of any shared ideology but as a tool to keep Afghanistan off balance and powerless, and as a way to ...

Look Pakistan isn't an ally off the West. It pretents to be, just to get their free paycheck each year. The West is stupid enough to give them this.

My country is a member of ISAF and is active in Afghanistan. My country is in deep trouble itself at the moment. Those people, both from Pakistan and ...

Depends on which knife I'm using...

If I'm cutting with my Endura 4 or Manix 2, they are just fine even after you've banged them into the cutting board through multiple sessions involving tough veggies like carrots etc. on a wooden or plastic cutting board.

Doing the same thing with my Resilience ...

I discovered Spyderco a few months ago, and ironically it was via fixed blades. I got a Forester for camping, and then got into folders.

Forester
Street Beat
Caly 3.5 VG-10
Manix 2
Resilience
2x Endura 4 FFG
2x Delica 4 FFG

Probably a Des Horn sometime soon.

One more vote for the Delica! Delica 4 FFG, to be precise.

When I first got into Spyderco I actually avoided both the Delica and the Endura models for months, as they looked "weird" to me from the pictures I saw online; then one day I was at the local knife store and the guy mentions that some ...
