Comparison Pic Request: Native 5 vs Manix 2 vs Manix 2 XL

#1

A humble request to those lucky enough to have these 3 knives, sitting next to each other.

I'd also appreciate if you threw in a Delica 4 FFG and even an Endura 4 FFG, actually FFG is only a preference, regular Delica and Endura 4s would work just as well.

Thank you.

Hey M55, a similar request was also made at a thread entitled "Manix XL Wow'. I am anxious to see some picture comparisions with teh Manix XL. I want one, but you know how it is. So many knives and only so few coins.

I had our photographer get this for you. The top knife is the Manix 2 XL, the middle knife is the Manix 2, and the bottom one is the Native 5.

Here's the pic with the Endura and the Delica. Sorry that they aren't FFG.

Thanks Cam, Holy smoke the XL dwarfs the Native 5 and is quite a bit bigger than teh regular Manix. You can look at the number comparisions, but the picture is worth a thousand.....a thousand.....a thousand somethings, I just can't think of the word.

I like that extra belly on the XL!

But the N5 is easily the best looking of the three

Yep, and now after seeing those pics I have settled on the Native 5 as my smaller EDC and the Manix 2 XL as the the, well... XL EDC for urban exploration and such. For the winter, that is; my summer EDC combo is Delica 4 FFG for small and Endura 4 FFG for XL EDC since I don't want the heavier G-10 knives to flop around in my shorts pocket.

That's what I was thinking...Nice belly and FFG + 3mm blade makes this a nice slicer!

Far better is it to dare mighty things, to win glorious triumphs, even though checkered by failure... than to rank with those poor spirits who neither enjoy nor suffer much, because they live in a gray twilight that knows not victory nor defeat.

I am a summer person and run around in shorts as much as possible. One good thing about the winter though is that you can more easily carry some of the larger knives. I get the tactical shorts from cabelas that has the two extra pockets in front.
