I have a Lionsteel SR-1 Titanium, but I just can't get warmed up to it. The Lionspy however, may actually work for me. I think the problem with the SR-1 has to do with the lack of a hole.........

I have both and would easily recommend the GB. The Sage is great but the GB is in a class of it's own.

I dunno, the Ti millie is a great knife but I find that I really prefer the millie in the standard platform. I'm sure that an integral comp lock para 2 will be a coveted knife but it might not be as preferable for me to carry often.

Every bit. I was just shocked at the blatant use of the logo. They misspelled "taiwan" as "tanwai", probably lied about the steel, but I'll be damned if they don't have the spydie logo perfect.

My concept is "forged in steel". The anvil and hammer props these two amazing creations. Also it is a depiction of past and present collaborations with great bladesmiths, as only Spyderco does to perfection.

Why does the model number have you concerned? Though the box label says it should be serrated edge. Not quite sure what you mean by first run but the knife is from the initial release somewhere around 1996. Spyderco then released some combo edge only around 2001.

I'm a fan of FOB's and would buy a few if they were reasonable. Both materials would be cool but the weight of metal gives a lanyard/FOB a better hang IMHO.

Use the one you got. I used a TI Lum for several years before I knew that people think they are worth a lot. I also have a PE Native II that I uses daily for 8 plus years before I knew that they are kinda rare. Even if these knives were/are rare I have never regretted using both of them. Who cares ...
