I just got a new black on black para 2, and all the hardware is black (thank god!) but the lock is still silver, which I think provides a nice contrast, along with the silver markings on the blade, as well as the edge...
I highly recommend this knife! :)

I doubt that it was just a coincidence, but within 30 minutes of my last post I received two emails, one from bentoboxshop.com saying that they are still accepting pre orders on there grey g10 para 2's.
Two minutes later I received an email reply from the person I had ordered my CF para 2 from ...
