I just got a para in the mail yesterday and I'm having a few issues with it as well.

*lanyard tube so loose it just falls out
*quite a bit of side to side play in the blade
*blade is not quite centered. some fit and finish issues
*the finish on the blade itself looks a little sloppy and the grind ...

A few weeks later and the Delica showed back up on my doorstep all newly serrated. They did a bang up job on the new serrations in my opinion. Even did what they could with what was left of the old tip. So the scary sharp new serrations in combination with the scratches and dings of over 15 years of ...

Cool. Thanks for the info. I was mostly worried that some dubious mailman saw the Spyderco address and decided to take a gift home.

Hey all,

Just wondering if anyone here has had their knives sharpened/reground by Spyderco. I'm curious how long it took for you to get it back. The only reason I ask is because I sent mine off on Aug. 20th with $25 for resharpening and shipping costs. That was almost three weeks ago and haven't ...

I posted this in the pictures forum a couple of days ago. Hope it helps...

I love the G-10 Rookie! I like it so much I got two of them in case something happens to the first one. I live in an urban environment so size is always a factor. This knife while being ultra thin has the same length of ...

I love the G-10 Rookie! I like it so much I got two of them in case something happens to the first one. I live in an urban environment so size is always a factor. This knife while being ultra thin has the same length of blade as the Delica 4. Since Spyderco only put a liner on one side of the handle ...

+1 for a Spyderco Jani-Song! I'd also love to see a Yojimbo with s90v and forest green g-10.

Sliced my thumb pad with my ZDP Caly 3. Barely touched it. Unbelievably sharp.

Just sent the Delica off today to get re-serrated. Here are some before photos of the blade. Sorry these aren't very good quality. I only had my camera phone handy.

Thanks for all the suggestions folks! It would be easy for me to set this knife aside and just get a new Delica IV but I think I will send the pictures to Spyderco to see if it would be a simple regrind. I would hate to retire this knife because it's a great size, very lightweight EDC (can't even ...

Obtained an old Delica and I have a question (with pics)...

I'm brand new to the world of Spyderco but recently my girlfriend gave me a Delica that she found at her work. From the research I've done it seems like its a first generation Delica SE G-2 Blade steel, with FRN handle, molded clip, waffle grip pattern and lockback. My question is about the blade ...
