I'm an English major because, as this post demonstrates, it's an amazing language.

Like clay you can shape to whatever you'd like.

You can spend a life time studying it, learning it, and still be no closer to mastering it than when you started.

I wouldn't give it up for the world.

For hand powered sharpening, I would go for the Sharpmaker if it was within my price range with the add on 204D rods. If not, then I would probably use sandpaper on plate glass and an old leather belt with some hardware store rouge or mothers mag polish for stropping until I could afford the ...

I had used a Carbon Fiber harpy a while back and I absolutely loved it. I think a Ti version would be killer; other than that, I can't really think of much else worth changing to make it better.

I did for the longest time. Then I stopped.-- it's just not worth the heavy wear it puts on the knife. Besides, unless you're in a SD situation, the extra second or two to just open it normally isn't going to be a big deal.

O.K... I admit it. I sometimes DO flick it open. Usually it's just because ...

Most used Spydie... Has to be the D2Para, been in my pocket every single day since I got it (she's one tough blade!).

I don't STALK Sal, but I do watch the Spydie forums on BF & USN and click on any thread the Spydie crew makes.

AND! WAIT FOR IT ... ! I love the Glessers and the entire Spyderco ...

Thanks Mr. Janich! That carry method has so far today help up great.

As for the Byrd Ronin... I suppose you could try a sort-of Mini-Ronin if the price is too expensive for a Byrd Ronin based on the Original Spydie Ronin.

Just an idea.

Yeah, It was sticking out bigtime, then I took off the Teklok and it literally disappeared... Unless you're wearing a tight shirt, then nothing is gonna stop it from showing. When wearing it as a necker it's perfectly designed, the necklace covered in paracord to stop rattling/etc, but stops just at ...

Just a little pre-warning:

The Ronin when in sheath does seem BIG, and at first I thought it'd be futile wearing it as a necker as it'd stick out of my shirt, but despite it's size it dissapears when worn around the neck and after awhile I find I don't even notice I'm wearing it.

I'd have to say... If you can find one... The Persian is the way to go. The thing is a beast but looks like a beauty. I've put it through **** and it looks no worse for wear. Classy, indestructible, what else could you ever ask for?
