What is this on the Manix 2 blade? ...

The little thing that looks like an engraved "W" or "E," but not quite? You can see it in this pic from The Deacon's photo thread. Just to the left of the word "Golden."

Eric Glesser's (Sal's son) trademark. Sal has something similar as well.

Well, IIRC, that's the mark of Eric Glesser.

That symbol is actually a stylized "EG", which are the initials of the knife's designer Eric Glesser. There's a thread that identifies the designers' symbols for all Spydies, but I can't find it right now...
