I forgot what the spacer is made out of. Maybe zach will chime in later and be able to answer your questions.

New scales for my mule

I had some scales made by Zach last month and finally have to time to show them off a little :D

The scales that I selected from his stock were Big Leaf Maple burl professionally acrylic stabilized.

He transformed this:

New knives(para,millie,rare manix2)

Got a few new additions over the past couple weeks. The first one is my foliage green D2 Para military. I really like this knife. As of know it is one of my favorite carry knives right next to my khukuri. I love the compression lock on this knife.

You are right on the Sage - black and (charcoal) grey.
Rookie lanyard (now on my Para - pics to come when I get a chance) is OD green and tan.

The lanyards are made by my dad; cord is from Rotokid:

A few new ones. All lanyards made by my Dad - I think these are some of the best yet. I think the Rookie and Sage look particularly good.

I love the khukuri. I usually carry two knives, one being the khukuri and I rotate the other. The blade angle is what makes the knife so great, it puts the belly right into what ever you wanna cut. The thin handle is awesome because it disappears in your pocket and is so comfy.

Here are a few pics ...

Hey 007, great start. P'kal is also my EDC in rfp. Been eyeing the khukuri myself lately but your commitment to it has just pushed me over the edge! Got to get one now! :D

You won't regret it!! I love the khukuri. The blade angle is just so useful and the knife itself rides so well in the pocket ...

Just get both!!! This is a hard decision to pick one over the other. I usually carry two knives, in the left pocket I always carry the khukuri and in the right pocket I switch between the p'kal and the superhawk. P'kal is not as wide and is almost an ounce lighter. Basically smaller and more compact ...
