Here we go again with everyone doing the "sprint run shuffle", scrambling around trying to secure their spot on pre-order lists, with no guarantee that being on a list gets them a knife.

I talked to KW and I'm on their list
BUT they don't know how many they are going to get - so there is a chance I won't be getting my dream knife after all :(

Please, someone let me know where you have found these still available for pre-order. Everywhere I have tried has already closed their lists...

I was going to pre-order from ambient outdoors but I've never ordered from them before so I help off thinking there would be a lot more opportunities. Now they've closed their pre-orders as well...

I hope with the popularity of this knife and the materials being used, Spyderco makes a large batch size. I don't think 5-600 pieces will be enough to cover the demand.

Got my order in. Hopefully it will be filled. Seems like I'm one of the fortunate few that was able to get the Para2 when it was first released.
Never had an opportunity to own an S90V blade but it seems that this will be the perfect time.
The Para2 really is the perfect EDC knife. It has so dominated my pocket there are cobwebs growing on others that used to be in rotation.

There goes another $200 :p

Wait...is it polished CF or that matte 'peel-ply' ?
I'm not interested unless its polished, haha.

It took me about 15 minutes to turn my peel-ply CF Stretch into a polished CF Stretch. Very easy to do.

^^^ wow that looks really nice. i like that look better personally. is it still "grippy" like the original G10?
You should never have to ask yourself "do i really need another knife?" The answer is obvious...

I'm guessing smooth.

MCM, your knife sure looks nice. What is the grit size of the sandpaper did you use? I suppose a coarser grit would finish the job faster but I am wary of ruining the handle.

"What is the grit size of the sandpaper did you use?"

I think 3M wet & dry 220, 400 & 600.
BE SURE TO KEEP IT WET.

I laid a full sheet of paper on a piece of glass and just more or less block sanded.
