I just sold my Smock, it was one of the silver cruwear/ silver aluminum scale models.
If I remember correctly I got it shortly after getting a Sage 6. With the Sage I was blown away by the fit & finish, honestly it may have the best tolerances of any of my knives.
On paper I should have really ...

Re: Reveal 20 - Live!
I’d love to know the “inside baseball” of why the additional Rex 121 models now? Was Spyderco able to purchase all the remaining supply?

Seconds on FB Marketplace
I realize there is no practical solution, but it’s a bummer how many second sale knives pop up on “Denver” Facebook Marketplace that are represented as first quality or with no disclaimer. I’m venting more than giving feedback

Re: Current line-up, what should I add?
I see you have both some salts and some tool steels, so the steel variety is covered.
I see some Microjimbos, so you've got a couple of small ones, but those are a very specific knife. I don't see any other small knives, nor any larger knives, save for the Endura, which looks like your only ...

Gayle Bradley 2 while you still can
Chaparral is pocket perfection
Bugout, obviously
Sage1 while you still can if you like the Sage. It's the best one ;)
What is an Endura Rodeo? No Delica? No Dragonfly?
Gotta checkout the Bodacious

Re: Current line-up, what should I add?
Nice collection there. It looks to me like you need to try out a serrated edge Spyderco. My personal recommendation would be the Chaparral LW SE. You can get it for about $125 most places.
I bought this knife on whim after hearing about it on this forum. When it first arrived I almost returned ...

Current line-up, what should I add?
A little scary to put everything down on paper, but not nearly as bad as I was thinking it would be. What am I missing? Looking forward to the ButtonUp & Meerkat once they’re released.

Throwback Thursday
Picked this up last year on marketplace from what turned out to be an old cowboy / rodeo rider from Wyoming. With shipping down to me in CO, I’m sure I paid under $50. It came with the original box and paperwork which was a nice surprise, even with them reeking of tobacco smoke. Definitely have not ...

How Yellow is your Black&Yellow Salt?
My Para 3 Salt showed up today. I handled a few knives with the Caribbean Bi-Directional texture pattern scales at the Seconds Sale and I remember them as being more vibrant than mine, mine looks dirty already. Am I being overly harsh?

Re: 6" Mule discussion.
I know it’s cliche, but I’d love to see a fixed blade in Magnacut or a Cruwear equivalent. I’d appreciate the extra toughness for a knife that will see some abuse

Couldn’t help myself & picked up a black/yellow para 3 salt from them. I believe I chatted with someone from RedLine/EndGameEDC at the seconds sale, seemed nice in person.

Re: Decline of serrations
What are you using your knife for that you’ve worn out that many? I’m legitimately curiouswrote: As a technician, serrated knives have been valuable tools for me (i have gone through somewhere between 10 and 20 Enduras, amongst other knives, while working for a mining company)
