Re: School me about stress risers
Are there signs of increased stress on a knife blade that one can look for such as minor discoloration or it is mostly invisible until it breaks?
Speaking in general about steel components , I can think of two methods by which to identify a steel component that at one point was potentially ...

Re: School me about stress risers
It is well known within the Corvette community that if a crack appears in a fiberglass body panel that you drill a hole at the crack tip and it distributes the stress to stop the crack.
That makes sense.
Once a crack forms, the crack tip becomes the primary stress riser in that region
As ...

Re: Bodacious S90V and carbon fiber Sprint
The Bodacious has become my favorite general purpose pocket knife and S90V is a top 3 steel contender for me so I am super excited about this coming soon.
I honestly would prefer G10 to hopefully bring down the price in line with the current Bodacious models though.

Re: Reveal 18 - Live!
How can I find out when the MULE TEAM MAGNAMAX will go on sale? I want this to be my first MULE TEAM knife.
I am also excited for the first Bodacious variant. That blue cobalt looks amazing with the Bodacious.

Re: Bodacious Discussion
I too am hoping for additional Bodacious variants. Preferably in S90v (or MagnaCut with a heat treatment favoring edge retention). Or a coated 15v/ Cruwear/ M4 (assuming the coating process doesn’t diminish edge retention by a significant amount).

Re: Office Workers: What do you EDC?
I’m an engineer who spends some days at the office and other days in the field. When out of the office, I’ve started carrying my Bodacious. In the office, I carry my Para3 20cv with light blue FRN scales.

Re: Bodacious first Sprint and exclusive?
I hope we see new Bodacious variants with MagnaCut, s90v or 15v (15v coated if there are no major drawbacks to its performance).
The Bodacious has become my daily carry in knife friendly environments. It’s my “Goldilocks” between the PM2, M2 and Shaman. It’s approximately the size of the PM2, with ...

Re: Sal asks you to design a Spyderco.
My idea all-purpose edc would be a Bodacious with some Kapara features.
Starting with the Bodacious, I would add the Kapara’s style of finger groove/choil so that the cutting edge length is maximized while still being able to grip the knife right up against the blade.
