Re: Can the Opening Hole be improved?

I can’t see how the tictac opening hole works better than the perfect circle opening hole. Definitely not as functional. but for fidgety pocket jewelry knives ig it doesn’t matter.

More area to catch your finger. You can't fail a reverse flick with that design.

Re: New Bob Terzuola Spyderco Collab!

The C131 Terzuola SLIPIT was one of my favorite knives ever and I always wanted to try a Starmate as well. I would be ecstatic if either of these made a return in a cool sprint run configuration.

Re: What are these marks on the inside of the scales?

G10 can't be injection molded, it is machined. It does appear to say 55, and that looks to be engraved with a pencil grinder or some form of handheld rotary tool. Perhaps during assembly pairs of scales were numbered to make sure they were put on the correct knife.

If you own a GB2, this lock feels like a silk pillow in comparison.

My initial impression of this knife is quite good. Feels very nice in hand and looks even better, too.

I don't own a GB2, but I do own several knives that feel like a silk pillow in comparison with the Spymyto.

Hate that I ...

Re: Spymyto is hot!

Unfortunately I didn't fall in love with the knife like I hoped I would and it will be on it's way to a new home this afternoon.

Build quality was great, factory edge was great, blade was centered, action felt like it would break in nicely, and lockup was good. Definitely not a fault in execution ...

Re: Spymyto is hot!

Would anyone who has already received their Spymyto be willing to measure the bearings? Mine won't be here until Friday but I will update with my findings if no one else does before then. Pivot size/OD/ball diameter would be great. I'm curious if anything from Skiff would fit.
