Tomorrow I should see my second Spyderco Lil’ Native Sprint run in 15v blade steel.

Send the knife back to the Mothership (Spyderco) and let them handle it.

I couldn't help myself. I have a Spyderco Lil' Native backlock from the current sprint run with brown G-10 scales and 15v blade steel.

Yep, I ordered a second one today as a backup to my first one. My Wife is convinced that I was dropped on my head as a baby.

I would love to see the push button compression lock across the entire model line. I have trouble with the existing compression lock and the button would solve my issues.

I just received my Lil' Native backlog knife in 15v blade steel. The lock seems to be perfect out of the box. No play and the tip sits low enough that I can't cut myself.

I have a backlock version of the Lil' Native in CPM-15v blade steel coming my way so this was a great thread to read. I am going to assume that ceramic sharpening stones don't really work on CPM-15v and I will need to used diamond bench plates.

Is that about right?

I just order a Lil’Native with those brown G10 handle scales and a backlock. I am looking forward to using that knife!

Yep, the golden age of super steels is all over. Soon we will be limited to Aus 8 and 440C blade steel.



I am being sarcastic. I am sure there will be more super steels coming our way.

How about they revive the an older model like the Worker or the Economy model?

Today is my Lil’ Navigator, possibly my favorite Spyderco. The fit and finish on this knife is about as close to perfect as you can get.

When Spyderco does sprints runs, are they only available through Spyderco or are the available through their dealers?

I would also love to find alternative scales for the Lil’ Native with the backlock. I hope someone out there can help.

I am sorry to hear this and for your loss Sal. I have a couple of his REKAT knives.

For me China is not a friendly country to the United States and I prefer not sending money to them so they can strengthen their military.

This is my only orange knife.
