There is a previous thread about a larger Mule Team that ended up with some prototypes being made and tested.. Thanx Al. There seems to be some interest in this being a larger version available. So with that thought in mind, I'm trying to determine if there is a path for a larger, 6" blade version ...

A Magna-Max endura 4 (I love my K390 one, just wish it didn’t rust) or a spyderchef with a magna-cut or magna-max blade ground down to 0.010” BTE. The spyderchef is just about perfect for me aside from being a little thick behind the edge and not holding a crispy sharp edge as long as I would like.

I’d want anything from the delica/endura family or from the stretch 2/leafjumper family. I think the seki knives being ground very thin behind the edge suits a steel like magna-max very well.

Strangly enough, not for the cru-wear sprint run. It’s about as thick a PM2 behind the edge. Hollow grind, I cannot tell.


As far as I know the Cruwear sprint has just a sabre grind, and a pretty low one too... for me this actually kills the perhaps most defining feature of the ...

Yes, still hollow ground and still thin BTE. The blade came so sharp from the factory too, it cuts so nicely. Great knife.

Looks like anything that comes stock in CPMM4 is out. wonder if it has to do with availability.

I’m hoping that Magna-Max lands at Seki first, a Magna-max endura would a dream knife.

Probably a real long shot. It doesn't look like we are going to me able to get any more of Shawn's 15V and what we have has already been earmarked. If it were possible to squeeze in a sprint version of that model with a different steel, what would work for you? Perhaps to "seize ...

I will get a MagnaMax in PE and maybe an SE too just for the fact that its an SE Mule. I did get two MagnaCut Mules when they dropped, it was a nightmare of a crashing site, but got the order in. Any thoughts how this drop will go? Will demand be as high as MagnaCut was?
