They didn't put out a notice that I am aware of. But, it appears that they are QUIETLY DISCONTINUING THE HARD PAPER CATALOGUES !!

This is the notice you get when you click on "Catalogues"........

Re: Why do so many refuse to ship outside USA?

Customs/border authorities can be overzealous, customers can order items that are unlawful and obtain refunds when items get seized at a loss to the retailer, governments can impose ridiculous tax collection obligations on the retailer and/or delivery company ….

It’s unfortunate, but you can’t ...

Re: Police 2 SS blade shrinking!!!

When you can't sharpen the knife yourself. And you ruin the blade to the point where you have to send it to Spyderco to fix.

They will grind it down sufficiently to get a good edge.

Use the knife properly and learn how to sharpen it yourself.

Re: Flying to the UK on military orders.

And that is also why Spyderco sells UK Penknives with no locks called "slipits". Blade length 2.98 inches.

And it's not worth carrying or taking anything that doesn't meet those low standards.

Re: Flying to the UK on military orders.

UK knife law allows you to carry non-locking pocket knives with a blade length up to 3 inches (7.62 cm) without any need for a valid reason.

NON LOCKING BLADES UNDER 3 INCHES !!

Re: New(ish) Delica is covered in surface rust

Why would you send the knife all the way back from Australia for "SURFACE RUST" !!??

That's like returning your car to the manufacturer to "GET WASHED" !!!

Use WD-40 or knife oil and wipe it off yourself !!!

Re: Future value of Paysan on secondary market?

Now that the Paysan is officially discontinued and supply has dried up , will the value increase in the secondary market like the Nirvana? Personally, I see it settling around the $800-$1,000 range. Thoughts?

I just bought a brand new Paysan from KnifeCenter !!

So, they are not "dried up" and ...

Re: EXTREMELY disappointed with Spyderco

Mystery boxes are not inherently a scam, but they can be risky.

Some mystery boxes may not deliver the value or quality of items promised, leading to disappointment for the buyer.

Always consider the potential risks before deciding to buy a mystery box.

Companies use "mystery boxes" to get rid ...

It's nice that you like it.

But, it is not "brand new". It has a lot of wear and scratches from use. And you can see the uneven sharpening also. As well as the scratches on the ...

Re: New Spyderco Paysan CQI: defective & disappointing

The design seems to need a lockbar access cutout or some other system to defeat the lockstick on the anecdotal cases of occurrence

Keep in mind...the design is based on Peter Rassenti's Paysan. When Spyderco does a collaboration model like this they try to stay as close to the designer's ...

The timing couldn't be better. With the ridiculous, outrageous costs of disposable razors and other shaving gear I've really been considering going full stride with a straight razor setup. I'm sure Mr. Glesser could put out a product that could compete heavily with any of the newer straight ...

I’d much rather have a Nirvana.
The Nirvana is a much nicer model.

I bought mine back in 2016 for $432.

I didn't like the Paysan when introduced and didn't buy it. I still wouldn't buy it.

Whether they are "users" or "collectables", the boxes raise the value overall.

Even if you switch out your "users", you need a box to store them in.

And the boxes show the details for the knife.

It's called "organization".

If you look at Spyderco website under their "blade shapes", it is NOT A DROP POINT.

But is a Sheepsfoot blade.
