I would buy a Stretch XL in Magnacut in addition to the Native Chief and the Native.
Then the only things I could possibly still want are the Chaparral Magnacut PE and SE.

Re: Stable edge steels (NOT TOUGHNESS)
I know there’s a lot of talk in here about hyper tough carbon steels. But I’ve been using and abusing knives in lc200n for close to a year now, and they have some incredible edge stability. The ONLY time I had lc200n chip out on me was when the sharp corner of a Ti lanyard bead was bashed into the ...

Re: What is the single best spyderco configuration you own?
I like customizing and blade swapping, so I have many good combos. Currently this one is definitely the most carried. It's hard to tell from the photo, but it's a Magnacut, my first knife in this steel. The aftermarket scales are 10g lighter than the factory FRN scales and they come with phosphor br...

Re: Dragonfly vs. Lil' Native
For a tiny three-finger knife, the Dragonfly ergonomics line up a lot better for my hand. So it does end up being my most-carried knife, often as a secondary in a shirt or jacket pocket, etc.. What I'd really like to see is improvements on the Dragonfly LW. The big one is just offering it (especial...

JIC it is of interest, I found a HRC test, it comes out at 61.7.
Does it mean the HT is geared a tiny bit towards toughness rather than edge retention?

Am I remembering correctly that those handles were 3D printed? How are they working so far?
They are great. Plenty strong with perfect tolerances & smooth as butter action. Carbon fiber reinforced PLA. There is a chance they will be made for the Chief LW also.

Yes! Ti could also do the trick.the74impala wrote: ↑Thu May 16, 2024 5:13 pmCruCarta Manix2 would look so good with an original clear ball cage.
Will there be a Native Crucarta, or a Native with steel liners is never coming back?

I asked Brody Bolanos from HiPolyDesigns, he might start offering Chief scales in the future (3d printed, not Ti!). He is currently working on the UKPK. Might be interesting for those who don't have FB.
