Re: I love the Spyderco Endura

Rather thin blade (though it could be thinner for me: The 2.5mm of the Delica instead of the 3.0 mm) that is still very strong and has that a bit reenforced tip I come back after a little forum break and the endura is getting a whole lot of love!! I had sharpened my endura enough that it was starti...

Re: Shipping of internal parts

Who did the stripping? If it was you, very likely not. Have you actually read the warranty? I’m the original owner, so you could say I did in a sense, but I don’t exactly consider it a fault of mine really. I’ve changed multitudes of clips on spyderco knives and this one just won’t bite into the li...

Re: Shipping of internal parts

Would a new liner for an Endura due to stripped clip screw hole be under warranty. Or could I buy it

Re: Which Endura is your ideal all-arounder?

I did find it interesting that every pic that I saw posted here has either the Discontinued g10 scales, or aftermarket ones. Hopefully some knife shops are taking note and commission one in the future

Re: Which Endura is your ideal all-arounder?

Where are you guys getting these scales at?? I don't know if this was directed at me or not, but mine came in foliage green G10, my first Spyderco. For a long time, I resisted collecting other knives, thinking I had found the perfect one for me. I still think this would be the one I'd keep if I dec...

Re: I Tested the Edge Retention of 48 Steels

Does anyone know what spyderco hardens there vg10 and their s30v to? S30V is normally ~ 60 HRC or so. Thanks Jim! Vg10 anyone? I’ve never owned any s90v, but based on this chart I’d love to try it. I used to have a few s110v knives, but my sharpening was not as good as it is now, and I couldn’t sha...

Re: S30V Teal Endura - MGE Wholesale Exclusive

Sigh Had to add another Endura to the pile :) getting tougher to decide which one to carry. Maybe my wife will 'steal this teal one and help me out lol! Steal the teal! Love it. :D I’m Interested to see what happens at my house with this one. My wife doesn't like folders with over 3in blades, but L...

Has anybody else noticed, that ever since Vivi left us... sharpening threads have really taken a nose dive? The community lost a lot of knowledge and experience.

Re: Which Endura is your ideal all-arounder?

For me I don’t like combo edges, and only like full serrated for limited tasks. Just a preference. I’m also big on the FFG. Also, the Endura is my favorite model, I use it exclusively except rare and specialized tasks. (And I own 6 now, after the s30v ones come, which I’ll mention in a second.) So m...

I’ll always choose frn over g10 in pretty much any model. I like the weight, the texture, I like how it feels in hand. I prefer frn over g10 in just about every way,. Chocolate and vanilla i guess.
Same here.

Re: S30V Teal Endura - MGE Wholesale Exclusive

Have to kinda laugh. In another thread, S30V in Sage is not premium enough. Now, S30V in Endura is like hell yeah baby. S30V, the most premium nonpremium budget high-end very good mediocre stainless steel, since 2001. Yea, crazy. I’ve been happy with s30v on any knife for a while. It’s perfect for ...

Pre-order for these is live at RIver's Edge Cutlery.
Thank you for mentioning this. I was able to get two. And happy I didn’t miss it. Been waiting for a s30v Endura for some time. And with sals mark, it just looks perfect. Thanks again Julia

Re: S30V Teal Endura - MGE Wholesale Exclusive

My computer can´t open the "wholesale" - internetpage... can´t be that they are constantly overloaded due to Endura-requests.. ?! ;) I´d be interested in the S30V, not necessarely the color. But I´d have a spare pair of green Endura scales... You could always rit dye it. I might be wrong...
