Looks like you have a very good lineup to cover most situations, but vairety is nice to have as well! I'll go along with those who've suggested a Millie or a Caly. The Millie could be alternated with the Manix XL (a great knife!) as well as the Endura, and the Caly (either size, though the 3.5 might be more intimidating) could be alternaterd with your Sage. Personally, I'd recommend the Cruwear Millie :) (you may be surprised at how much pocket time it gets!) and a super blue or ZDP-189 Caly. I think you'll be happy to have either of these.
K-390 on hand: Mule Team 17, Police 4 G-10, Endela (burlap micarta), Endela backup, Endura (canvas micarta), Straight Stretch (now blade-swapped with G-10 Stretch), Delica Wharncliffe, Dragonfly Wharncliffe, & Dragonfly Wharncliffe shorty mod
Note to self: Less is more.

Current Top 5...

I just included folders, but I have to give the nod to the MT17 as my most used spydie, can't wait for more mules.
Also, honorable mention to XHP native, PM2. (I see lots of dfly comments, but that little hole and handle make it too awkward for me to open easily so it sits for the most part unless I throw it in my boardshorts for a surf trip.)

swigert wrote:Manix 2XL - could be used in self defense, big blade for great slicing and food prep. Best lockup of any knife I have and fits hand the best from all grips.

Paramilitary 2 - Do I need to make a case here?

Sage 1 - perfect gentle and folder, great blade shape and slicer. Non intimidating.

Endura 4 FFG - Freaking workhorse!!!! Don't mind using it very hard, does any job!

Pacific Salt SE - IMO best serrated knife on the market. Perfect for my fishing and waterfowl hunting!

What would you change in my lineup? I can't think of a better lineup of just 5 knives. If you were to add what would you take away and why?
My choice of 5 would be Military partially serrated blade, Super Leaf, Native5 G10, FRN Stretch Combo blade, and finally the Techno! :)

I work a lot in fast moving water and rope comes in to the equation often so a Rescue or Assist is always near the top of my list. I know it is a specialized use but if water and rope are a part of your life they are a must have.

Well, I prefer not too big Spydies (like Manix or Military, even if I love them too !) so for me :

- Native : for being the best knife ever ? ;)
- Viele 1 : for gentlemen (and for being the one which makes me become Spydercoholic !)
- Dragonfly : for being small, and perfect EDC
- Khalsa : for being one of the stranger ones !
- Poliwog : because it's a very nice one in full SS, love it !
Plain Edge Friendly !
Favorite ones : 1- Native (+ Poliwog) 2- C42 H.Viele 3- J.S.Khalsa & Dragonfly
~~ Looking for Native 5 FRN Brown Operation Inherent Resolve
C41BN5

YOUR best 5 is yours. Nothing else be said. But,,, there is always a however. :) So however, I think you should have a smaller something, anything. And I think a Bradley Folder would fit in perfectly with the 5 larger knives you have. A STRONG folder with M4 and CF? Seems like a given to me. :)
