It is a tiny knife. No need for tactical peel ply. Smooth please.

The Deacon wrote:Hi Mark, yes peel ply G-10 is what Spyderco normally uses. To the best of my knowledge, the only G-10 handle they've offered which was not peel ply was the red one on the Schempp Persian Sprint Run.

EDITED to add: Just realized I mis-spoke. While the Red Persian is the only example of smooth G-10 on a Spyderco, there have been a couple others that were not peel-ply. The Perrin PPT and the Anso Zulu are carved G-10.
Thanks Deacon. I was confused by calling it peel ply g10 now, bc we've been referring to that same style of g10 as "g10" for as long as I can remember.

I had imagined "peel ply g10" as some sort of new g10 with a chekerboard pattern similar to the peel ply CF

Glad to help Mark. FWIW, the checkerboard effect in the peel ply CF is the CF weave pattern showing through under the peel ply texture layer.

Good to see you Zen! Yes, it's definitely tiny. Have to say that micarta takes a lot of abuse without getting too shabby looking. This little fella has been bouncing around on my key ring for over 7 years now...

Well, after seeing Deacon's photo, I'm voting smooth.

The peel ply g10 can get dented/scratched, so I think smooth would survive better on a keychain.

Smooth please!!!

Now that I've seen the smooth polished handle on the Vallotton  , I'm going to have to vote for the same finish on the Jester sprint!

I vote for smooth, but will buy either. Also glad to see the Jester coming back.
