Apparently REI no longer stocks Spyderco Knives. That is what a store manager told me..

Some may have old stock...(old pricing too)

Thanks 103.
I tried the local store. But I think with their remodeling too, those old ones are all gone. Or buried even deeper. I'll keep looking, maybe Fozzy's friends will have better luck.
Thanks

Greetings Boxer~
I did bring back alot of our Hawaiian "Q's", but they sold quickly.
Right now Ebay has several "Q's" for sale. There's even a set of 5 different colored "Q's" with the skeletonized (sp? <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0> handles for $275.00.
Aloha~

Thanks Lokelani,
I figured it didn't hurt to ask. I check ebay often, but I have to be cautious sometimes these Q's can command some very high prices. (I'd be broke in a month). I did however see that color set and I'm seeing about getting myself a set.

For those of you interested in the Q knives on Ebay, I talked with Sal at the New York Knife Show and he told me they had found about 100 Spyder Q blades in the warehouse. His son Eric is putting together the sets of five knives with different colored handles for a starting bid of $275.

Boxer,

I was thinking like Chinook about the solid blades till these popped up. I didn't catch the later posts either. The price was a little high but lower than I thought they might go for.... All nice PEs with the Spydie cutout to mess up the Solid Blade theory now. Wonder what the rest of those 100 blades are.

You're right though - <b>Now I am broke.</b> <img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0><img src="sad.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>

java, I know the only photo's of color handles I had before were the solid ones, kona, 25th blade. I did email Eric and he stated that he has the 20 sets of 5 colors, plus singles in color, but not all 5 colors plus he had some of the colored handles with 'Rescue' blades, which he describes as solid. I expect that bluelittleyota will be busy selling on e-bay for a while.
Now I just have to figure how to have my wife get me some for Christmas without me knowing <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
