Well if they are disco'd, I going to have to load up on them. It is my favorite folder bar none.

I was only speculating that they may be discontinued due to the price I managed to get one. It could simply be a case of a dealer clearing them for his own reasons. The speculation on my part arises from it being that time of year! ;)

You're not alone, though the FFG model is semi-tempting. I think I'd rather have a Stretch due to the choil.

I sold my last two Enduras to a friend who loves them. They're not bad knives, but just not for me. I do still have an Endura, but it's an old D1 series with the clip ground off that I use for a neck knife in open position.

I really like choils on a general basis, so there are other knives that I like better.

The new FRN FFG models that they're working on will be tempting in serrated.

I'd like to try a E4 with a choil. I've tried the Stretch, but handle convexes at the third finger where the E4's concaves and due to that, the Stretch just doesn't feel right to me.

I have a couple of each, acquired pretty cheaply. I never carry them, though my wife carries the endura with some regularity. I'm not a big fan of the PS edge on my enduras. the Delica is SE but I'd rather carry my Scorpius. It's a beautiful knife.

And I have 10 variations of the Military and Zero Endura and only 2 Delica (25th Anniversary / Carbon Fiber)

We all have models we love and hate.

Have a lot of Spyderco's myself. Had a couple delicas over the years and gave away one to friend and sold the CF version and one of the beautiful anniversary versions (still pains me sometimes). I like the coil found on most Spyderco's so I just prefer other models - like the Calypso Jr. or Sage. I do have the green flat ground delica in my collection and will hang on to that version. I have gifted away a few natives also...just not my cup of tea. I do like the endura and may have to pick one up sometime again. Gave my SS version to a friend who really liked it.

I've had some Delicas and Enduras over the years and always ended up selling them off for various reasons. Funny thing is though, I want to own at least one of each, but some design changes are necessary I guess for me to buy and keep at least one of each.

When Sal announced the FFG FRNs with 5 different colors, believe me, I'll be all over some of those. The icing on the cake will be polished silver clips. Can you imagine a FFG lime green Delica with a silver clip? I can!!! That would be a Delica to keep in my collection forever. :D
