I wouldn't go for a pink/purple knife... It's just not a "knife color" to me. I tend to like the oranges, the yellows, the British Racing Greens, and especialy the Endura/Delica Wave Grays (which is more of a blue color).

Sheepsfoot and...

Post by Gibsoniam »

i believe there were a total of four blade types discussed. the wharncliffe, leaf, sheepsfoot and ' safety tipped'.

i also recall Sal mentioned the wharncliffe and leaf would be followed the next year by the other two, and with different handlf colors.

also, i'm pretty sure the only way to mix and match is to buy each knife which parts you want to swap.

someone please correct me if any of the above is wrong. :p

finally, after seeing the 09 catalog and the purple frn ladybug, i hope one of the next urbans is purple frn!!! :D

The Warnie is still in the plan. Sorry for the push-back. That wasn't in the plan.

However, when one considers the many models that we have introduced and will be introducing if a fairly short period of time, it's easier to understand that our makers are giving it their best effort to make and deliver all of the new models.

Any chance of a hawkbill Urban? I think that would be pretty sweet. It wouldn't have to be a huge curve, but enough of one to distinguish it from the wharnie version. Pretty please?

Is the production Urban going to be produced in Golden,CO?

I really like the idea of a small knife from Golden. There is nothing wrong with the Japanese made folders but I would love to have a small folder from Golden.

Nope, they've got VG-10. That means Japan.

Too bad; I'd also like to see them made in Golden.

I would love to see one with a blade lock.

Even though I have not handle one, it looks like it has great Ergonomics. I wonder if the new dragonfly will be the Lockback version?!?!
