Wow the Tenacious has garnered some serious consideration. I was sleeping on it! DW it is good to see your post knifebro. My emails somehow fall into the pond before they get to the big island! :D Anyway always covered in prayer on this end. I will shoot you a pm later. ;)

I have to agree. The PE Tenacious has officially replaced my CE Endura 4 as my daily carry. The size, fit, finish and "smoothness" of the action won me over. The Tenacious flicks open with ease compared to my Endura. Don't know if it has anything to do with the lock differences or not. I kinda prefer a little heavier knife as well.

I am now a certified G10 fan for handle material. I really don't foresee buying another FRN knife.

This is a good solid knife that should do very well.

I will just echo what most everyone else has said - GREAT KNIFE! I would have happily paid double what I paid for mine. I have the full SE version and really like it so far. I carry it on the weekends around the house and yard as my general beater knife and it has not let me down so far.

Chad, I agree with you on the font choice though. FUGLY! :p

Hey LowTec, no worries about the "safety" issue, unless you are in the habit of flipping the knife closed after disengaging the lock. With normal closing (I push the liner over with my thumb and nudge the blade forward with my index finger, then thumb it closed using the hole) you should have no loss of digits. :D

How's the handle for lefties, is there a thumb relief next to the thumb hole on the blade when it's closed like there is for a right hander????
The Tenacious works fine for us lefties. The large cutout at the lock is a bit annoying to me, but it's that way on any linerlock knife with the cutout. The hole is fully exposed on the other side of the knife when it's closed, so opening it left-handed isn't a problem at all. It's not as out in the open on the lefty side, but it's by no means obscured.

Thanks for the review Chad! And nice to see you back again :)

I had a chance to handle the T 1st time this wednesday and I have to say its FAR better I ever thought, fit and finish were great, lock engagement was great, I could not even squeeze the liner lock open with my left hand what I can do on certain knives. I think its a tremendous value for the price it is charged.

There's nothing I can say that hasn't already been said, so here's a pic of a Tenacious with 2 friends:

I just bought one online ($34)... Looking forward to trying out that fully serrated edge. By the way, does anyone have any pics of it next to an Endura or a Delica So I can get an Idea of how big it is?

Thanks for the Pics man... That thing should be just right for a good sized work knife. BTW, Hows that full SE hold up in that steel?

You better be careful with the fully armed Tenacious tomahawk. It looks like it bites hard.

I have been carring a PE tenacios for about 2 weeks. I like that its smaller than my millie and bigger than my callie JR zdp. I'll probably rotate soon but I really like it and the steal seems to hold an edge well.
