Aloha ALL,

Cripes! Mahalo much for your concerns...however, I wish I had a "spweer an' magic hewmet" zen'. I been "marching" our perimeter at one of our units since friday, as the inmate's funeral was this weekend. Appears that no one wanted to come to work due to possible retaliation by either this inmate's family OR from the member's of a gang he was in. Honestly, I do not blame anyone for not coming to work, it was pretty freaky. Had I been issued our AR15 or Rem870, I'd have felt "better"...heck, I'd have settled for the "spear and magic helmet"...

Weird also in that about 2/3 of the facility think DACO is in the right for what he did...odd. However, what's done is done in terms of the shooting, but we are waiting for the retaliation to happen in some way or another...of course, they will not put *that* in the local paper. Until it happens, that is.

Also, in a few months, I will be working in a unit where there has been drugs smuggled in, along with syringes. Cripes...ordered a pair of gloves that protect from blood borne pathogens as well as having some cut resistance. Also looking into some kinda "vest" of sorts...at this unit, during a fight, one guy got bit on the chest. If it ain't one thing, it's another...

Anyway, I got some major catching up to do. I am pretty much caught up on my rest, and I think I did a great job of mimicking vampyrewolf's amount of sleep since friday. I dunno how the heck he does it...

Mahalo for your concerns everyone. I am blessed to be a part of this family. God bless, and be safe

Thank you.

Glad to hear you're ok, was beginning to worry, although mostly about the health of your PC, 'cause I always figure your "special armor" will protect you.

Welcome back, Chad. It's **** good to see you checking back in and that all is well!!! I hope you get a few days off for a few days of no sleep. You've earned it!
