Prices OMG Seriously?

I have 10 Spyderco’s I have had many many more. At a local gun shop I can buy like new Sig 9mm police trade ins for $249. “ Guns or knives Butch “ when knife prices and gun prices are nearly the same I’ll buy a gun.

I find that when I open a box with a 9mm, folks don't appreciate the noise. I guess I could get a silencer?

Sal are you sure you did not shoot a box with a knife in it 50 years ago ? Depending on the guns you have you could have made a hole in the blade that way…

Respectfully, the correct spelling is potato (singular) and potatoes (plural). No sneaky "e" at the end unless you're time-traveling to the 18th–19th century when variant spellings floated around.

Some time back I and others proposed that Spyderco make a Folding Scimitar type knife for the Byrd Line.
Sal and Mr. Ed Schempp were going over designs, last I read.

I dropped it in Ed's lap. I couldn't make it work, but Ed's quite the genius when it comes to the Ethnic series models. Check out his Kris. Brilliant.

The Kris is a masterpiece. I feel so fortunate to have one. It is an amazing fusion of traditional craft and a hybrid modern/traditional design. It is one of my very favorite Spydercos. I think it may be Ed Schempp's best design. It is among Moki's best work. It is ergonomically excellent. I love that it has a back lock, I love the bolster design and execution. The micarta is lovely and the whole thing flows together beautifully open or closed.

Ummm, tell me you're not buying well-used SIG P320's.

The point stands though, why do knives cost as much as low end handguns? It will never make any sense to me.
