Salty,
You could have just chewed up the scales to get a better grip from them lol. You chose to really nicely cut a unique extra design in with the better grip.
It's so typical you sir, it's just like the pix you tack up on here too, you get some of the best shots, with the light just so, so; exposing every last freaking detail man.
My hats off to you sir. This knife above looks awesome and many of us here know full well the why and how much trouble it had to be to get it that way. Well done. Take a well deserved bow.

I don't think I've ever seen someone post one of those to this thread. Certain Byrd models are really rare to see anyone using. Catbyrd, Flight, etc.
Makes me nostalgic for when the browser was called Firebird. Firefox never sounded right to me. Started using their tech back before it was even called Phoenix.....

Vivi, I never knew that Firefox was originally Phoenix then Firebird; had to Google thatvivi wrote: ↑Tue Dec 02, 2025 10:39 pmI don't think I've ever seen someone post one of those to this thread. Certain Byrd models are really rare to see anyone using. Catbyrd, Flight, etc.

Perfectly "right tool for the job"? - Probably not, since kitchen knives exist. ... But definitely also not the "WRONG tool for the job".
Said it before, I just love to use and experience the Spydie in my pocket in a wide variety of tasks, including food prep.

Nice shot! That's what I carried to work today.

After work I switched to this one I just got back.

I had it out on loan for a few years and nearly forgot about it. Plan to spend some time polishing it up real nice, and it definitely needs a good sharpening!
That was rough being down to only 4 Street Beats for a while
