Mine would be a Delica with a Golden back lock and a blade of Magnacut and Coyote scales.

Call me boring but I’d like a Chap LW SE XL Salt. Ideally Magnacut as I like it for sharpening, but LC200N would also be fine… or Vanax.

Dream knife would be a Salt version of the C44 Dyad , with a stronger PE blade preferably a Sheepfoot blade to compliment the SE blade . If possible a lanyard hole for use in water . MG2
MNOSD 0002 / Do more than is required of you . Patton

Something completely new....new knife, new model, new name? A Golden made fully titanium frame lock with some of the nice Spyderco touches! Something in the Manix 2 size range.

PM2 Skinny Backlock. Like the linerless G10 Manix2 Backlock they did a while back, but thinner instead of thicker.

Spyderco Slysz Rat

Endura4 blade in a neutral handle like a 940.

Crucarta Proficient

Crucarta Caribbean

15V Military Brown Micarta (original)

An actual chopper. Shcempp Rock too small, Darn Dao too expensive, Forester long discontinued. Preferably geared towards the outdoors. Maybe a Schempp Rock but with a 10 inch blade that weighs just over a pound. Maybe something inspired by a blade sports knife. Spyderco has been a blade sports sponsor for years.

A DLC Stretch 2 XL Salt with the same construction as the Military 2 Salt would be a good start.

I think the Nirvana is the nicest-looking knife Spyderco has made, but its handle prices it right out of my budget. So how about a backlock Nirvana with that same M2 Salt construction, but with 3mm blade stock. If 3mm wouldn't work because of the amount of blade the spydiehole takes up, then leave it at 4mm. If a backlock wouldn't work because of some internal issue I'm not aware of, then make it a liner lock. S90V would be fine for that one, or MagnaCut and make it a Salt.

I'm very happy & content with the Spydercos that I do have, but the following—if they ever get made—would instantly shoot up my favourites list:
  • Yojimbo 2 Salt in MagnaCut (I'm hoping that the recent announcement of a MicroJimbo Salt means that this isn't too far away from becoming a reality)
  • Schempp Rock Salt in MagnaCut or Schempp Rock in 3V
  • Lil' Temperance 3 Trainer
  • Caribbean in MagnaCut, with the G10 texture pattern of the Golden G10 Salt models

I agree with Wartstein: a Manix 2 XL LW (linerless FRCP just like the current Manix 2 LW) would be nice
Necromonger: What do you think of this blade?
Riddick: I think it is a half gram heavy on the back end.

Something like this with a linerlock and CPM154 or S90V steel.

Bodacious

MagnaCut, MagnaMax, 15V

3D machined titanium scales, something like Strider's Gunner Grip, not quite as thick as a Shaman but thicker in the center and contour the whole scale and not just bevel the edges

Serrated and plain edge options

Switch to button compression lock

If we're going full on fantasy dream knife, give it 1/2 inch more edge length and the minimum amount of extra handle length required to hide it when closed

my dream knife would be a Salt Police 4 wharncliffe in Magnacut or Lc200n. I would name it the Spyderco Joro - they're these really cool spiders we get down here in GA lately- they are really beautifully patterned and build magnificent webs. The handle could be a Red, Yellow and green shredded carbon fiber or an exotic colored FRN. If you get a chance google the Joro spider for reference they really are awesome little critters. :) :bug-red-white

Lockback Manix, hollow ground, skeleton ti liners, G10 or CF but with a little texture, not smooth and not a pocket shredder, ti bolster bonus points for integral, happy with magna-anything, also good with s90.

It happened once before- And I’m sure it will again- Wharncliffe Paramilitary 2 - with these changes:

4V Black red yellow DLC coating
Spydi-edge
Python Linen Micarta in White, Black Yellow and Red
(Maybe change the pattern so it can be renamed Coral snake Micarta)

At the least would be a conversation starter lol

Button compression lock Shaman with Fat Carbon and hollow ground 3V.

Although I think a Bodacious would be easier for a button.
