Re: My Knife Model Wishlist
There are good model suggestions in last year's Think it's time for another discontinued re-do thread.
I would be interested in the ff:
C95 Manix
C85 Yojimbo
C172 Domino
C124 Barong
FB45 Province
and probably a dozen more that I can't recall right now.

Re: My Knife Model Wishlist
Lots of Dodo love lately, but what about the Poliwog?
Re: My Knife Model Wishlist
PM2 Skinny Lockback (like the linerless Manix2 Lockback, but with thinner stock and handles than the current PM2)
Sage2 reboot... 10v? Maybe BHQ M4 with green anodized stonewashed handles? Bronze handle black blade and hardware? Salt version in Magnacut? Maybe use the new CRK Ceramic Ball Interface?
C22 Michael Walker Sprint Run in CF with a wireclip as mentioned by Sal in 2018
Axis lock Sage (sorry again!)
Ball Bearing Lock Sage (exposed, no cage, no Sage3 hump)
Pakkawood Manbug with bolsters like the G10 version

Chaparral XL

Official CRK collaboration Large Spydibenza!
Where's the PM2 lightweight already
?

Re: My Knife Model Wishlist
After a strategic convo I had over at the SFO one day, I don't think I'd care as much about specific models, but more towards getting all the knives (at least all the Golden offerings) in a Salt format. So I suppose you could say that it would be great to see the Shaman, Bodacious, Lil Native, etc., in the Salt line. And then maybe some fan favs like the Chap, the Sage 6, the Lil Temperance, etc.
However, the suggestion above (by numerous people) to do some 'high end' collabs with other knife manufacturers is a golden ticket. I'm not really one to hang out on Reddit or another forum, but it doesn't take a backstage pass to realize that there is a LOT of chatter in the knife community on knives from makers like CRK, Oz Machine, SPK (Lamia), McNees, Heretic, Grimsmo, Rockstead, Koenig, Hinderer, Strider, Demko, Protech, etc... And maybe of the customers who go after these knives may be unfamiliar with offerings like the Paysan and the Nirvana. And those are unavailable right now anyway.
I'd also love to see a 'REK' collab, since he does a ton of reblades for Spydercos, and I know that they are not everyone's cup of tea, but they are insanely popular.
I know that a collab with all of these makers isn't possible (and no doubt some would not be interested), and to some degree I think there are some makers w/ some questionable proclivities that maybe would not be a good fit w/ Spyderco, but a collaboration w/ some bigger high end US made knives could definitely make some waves and bring yet another potential customer base over to Spyderco. Could be a nice gateway thing.
So yeah, a CRK/Spyderco collab would hit hard and be the talk of the town. I like it.

Re: My Knife Model Wishlist
Kind of like a linerless, G-10, Stretch 2 straight spine. Or even thinner? I'd definitely be in for that.
...
These threads are terrible. Now I need stuff I didn't even know I wanted.
Another interesting idea! I'd want one, so no hate at all from me.
I'm not a big fan of axis locks, but I've used some of my BMs more often recently, and if I'm honest it's quite OK once I get used to carrying one.
Maybe not enough to be all over an axis-/cross bar lock Sage, but otoh it will help mitigate one of the biggest shortcomings of the Axis lock; there's too few of them with a round opening hole.
Dang, you're just a bottomless well of good ideas today :)
Re: My Knife Model Wishlist
I’d like to some sprint runs with hollow-ground blades. I bet the Lil’ Temp and Bodacious would be amazing in this configuration.
Re: My Knife Model Wishlist
Here's a mock up of my abomination. All I'm really hoping for is an Endura with a slim neutral handle, the 940 just happens to be a good reference.aicolainen wrote: ↑Sat Aug 16, 2025 10:21 amKind of like a linerless, G-10, Stretch 2 straight spine. Or even thinner? I'd definitely be in for that.
