I changed the micarta scales back to the original because I couldn’t get it to stay centered which was frustrating…it’s heavier but there is no comparison afa smoothness and flickability
Now that I’ve had it several weeks, my thumb has finally stopped searching for the thumb hole! This is an impressive little guy, probably won’t be my last Pro-Tech!

Thank you , It is a two dot 440C given to me or Christmas by my Dad . Probably carried it more than any knife I have in collection . I keep on my workbench in garage in the Summer and did a cleanup to store with my other vintage lockback knives . Dan

Sometimes you forget the G.O.A.Ts. Benchmade 440 Opportunist. This thing is almost 20 years old. Still one of classiest BM — and pocket knives — ever. Even has adjustable liner travel.

I regret selling that one. So freaking light and ahead of it's time for sure. However, I'd carry a Delica or Bugout over it every time so it found a new home.
