I changed the micarta scales back to the original because I couldn’t get it to stay centered which was frustrating…it’s heavier but there is no comparison afa smoothness and flickability 👍

Now that I’ve had it several weeks, my thumb has finally stopped searching for the thumb hole! This is an impressive little guy, probably won’t be my last Pro-Tech!

May your feet be warm and dry and your throat warm with whiskey. A knife in hand or in the sock band.

Thank you , It is a two dot 440C given to me or Christmas by my Dad . Probably carried it more than any knife I have in collection . I keep on my workbench in garage in the Summer and did a cleanup to store with my other vintage lockback knives . Dan

Sometimes you forget the G.O.A.Ts. Benchmade 440 Opportunist. This thing is almost 20 years old. Still one of classiest BM — and pocket knives — ever. Even has adjustable liner travel.

I regret selling that one. So freaking light and ahead of it's time for sure. However, I'd carry a Delica or Bugout over it every time so it found a new home.
