Not sure it's visible, but it took so many disassemblies and reassemblies that I don't want to do it again without a bigger reason. Regardless, I converted my Stretch 2 XL Lightweight PD#1 to washers :grin-big eyes . Had to grind down the FRN protrusions and find a fitting set of 0,2mm thick washers, pretty easy all in all.

Decided to do it as my Stretch rubbed the inside of the handles when opening due to the lateral pressure of my finger on the opening hole and I couldn't tighten the pivot enough to mitigate it while retaining the ability to open the knife at all, the support area wasn't wide enough. Now the action is much smoother, lateral play is non-existent, really happy how it turned out

Looking good and super smooth action! Where did you get the spring from and what is a SiC ball?

I got them from Ebay. There was a seller that sold the set of 2 medium springs and 2 Silicon Ceramic bearings.

Millie: Acid stone wash, painted black liner cavity so it pops. MGX Clip.

Subvert: Homemade damascus clip, Ritdyed the G10 Red, which is now wearing to orange along the edges which is kind of like a sunburst.

Endura: Classic poor Seki city quality control, had to flatten the handle internals as the titanium was completely warped from laser cutting (should've used waterjet or EDM), this was done with a glass plate and silicon carbide. This improved the action dramatically. I then zero ground the blade and re etched it as the factory etch sucked (Its had several sharpenings since then) and did a ferric anodizing to the Ti.

Gayle Bradley 2: Made it some Purple Juma scales.

Roc: Made it some white G10 scales, full flat ground it , and gave it a hand pulled satin.

My last sprint run Spyderco's so far has been two Police4 's, Endura4 and a Dragonfly II. Either changed out the scales or dyed the Burgundy colored to black.

I like the added jimping there.

...also the Advocate was one I wanted at the time but for some reason just never grabbed one... Weren't they a bit prone to lock stick?
Going back to Caly.

Mine has a tiny bit but nothing to be concerned about. I still think the CQI Advocate is among Sypderco's better designs and I wish Spyderco would run the model through the iteration pipeline.

I took a torch to the clip from my Crucarta PM2 and bronzed the finish to go with the new N5 Avacado. It doesn't quite match the PVD coating, but it's close. IMO it makes the knife look better. It'll do until I can get a bronze LynchNW clip.

Here is a new Manix2xl- Crucarta I got in yesterday and tonight as I am still up messing around with stuff; I just tore this knife all down after taking a few pix of the before, taped off with frog tape, laid what I thought would fit the scales.

Then I proceeded to snake the scales, have a looksee.
Second spyderco I have attempted this with. Still cannot keep the minwax stain from leeching under the edges of the frog tape.

This one kept the lines cleaner than the first one, but it still has what I am going to call Character lol...

Added the OCD4EDC- Titanium ball cage and their spring in my Manix2 XL above. Really like this big knife.
