I've been on a PM2 kick lately and I've been carrying and using some of mine a lot. I think the brick pattern scales look cool but I have this feeling they'll be pocket shredders even more than peel-ply G10. I think I'll sit this one out but I'll be looking forward to hearing what you guys think of it

Fantastic. That's something new, unseen and unexpected. But in a good way. Never thought I would see rex76 making it in a production folder. I mean, usually those new steels come as sprint runs first and after that dealer exclusives. This time around Gpknives cought me off guard. And since there won't be online seconds sale, I'm in for two of these. User and a backup. I'm not sure how is it going to be, but I have feeling this particular one is going to fly off the shelves. I don't know much about this steel. Larrin's testing from 2021 suggests it's similar to REX 45 but can be run a couple points harder, pushing it towards a little more wear resistance and a little less toughness.

Are there any other tests or in-use reviews floating around for this steel?

I did different style testing when I had the mules in my possession. My mules tested 69.3 hrc. And in the testing I was doing, rex 76 was out performing everything I was testing it against. I think k390 and cruwear were the only steels keeping up.
