Mystery Knife Center exclusive coming 6/23 (S90V/burlap micarta Shaman)

I put drumstick wax on my Crucarta Shaman after reading rave reviews of sexwax, but it didn’t do much. I’m sure that clammy hands would do better, but I don’t have that outside of summer.

I’ll probably get or make new scales someday for these.

Oh wow that's an interesting idea. I assume it changed the color, any pics?

Despite being blue, the sexwax wasn’t thick enough to impart any color. It just looks greasy. Lol

It’s too dark now to get good color rendition, so I’ll try to do some daytime photos tomorrow.

Nice to see these will be available again. Originally $238 back in 2022, now $299. I would agree tha the burlap scales look like they would be grippy, however for me I find them quick slick

got it, just wasn't sure why they didn't send me a email but I saw it on instagram now. I'll probably get one even though I'm not a fan of the shaman pricing but do like S90V and the burlap looks sick.

ah makes sense now why it sold out on spydercos website. i could not understand that base msrp. grabbed one of the s90vs too much i like about it. plus buying the rec lil native made me realize how superior the compression lock is on a native(imo) so gonna sell my n5s and use this big native.

Bought one. Also bought one the last time around, was worse at sharpening than I am now, sold it, then regretted the sale.
Nice to get another chance , and cheaper than secondary market!

worth it if you really like it. i doubt it lasts the week if not the day because shaman collectors typically have deep pockets but i seriously doubt it will be something people think they can flip

I picked one up back in 22, it is a good knife. The burlap looks awesome just wish it felt the way it looked. Its quite smooth.

I didn't care for the original scales with how smooth they felt and the color was more of a brown rust red didn't really care for it, so I got RGT micarta skinny scales and MPX titanium pocket clip . At the time it was cheaper then the S30v model. It was my first shaman I ended up getting a cruwear dlc exclusive from knifejoker with green g10 scales and a M4 dlc exclusive from bladhq with green micarta scales but they looked more brown then green lol anyway off topic ,not long after it became my go to bigger blade. I love it so much I can't justify buying a $300 bodacious when they look the same and have the same dimensions to my knowledge. If I'm wrong let me know please.
