Have the LW burnt orange’s dropped yet?

I see orange G10 and blue LW in stock but not the orange LW or blue g10 yet. Thanks!

We haven't seen the Rex 121 Sage5 Lightweight yet.
The KnifeWorks listing said Lightweight at first, but they've changed it to G-10.

Expensive for sure, but I've wanted a Rex121 offering for a while. Don't have a Sage yet, G-10 puts it over the top for me. Ordered one from Cutleryshoppe.

Having all the Sage releases to date, I think this is probably the moment I depart from the commitment and grab the first one available with a discount. I only ended up with the M4 versions because they hung around long enough to see a price decline

But man I love the Sage

Dear Abby forumites,

I'm so on the fence with this one! Like others, I'd rather have Rex121 in a mule but I don't want to miss out on the steel if will be our only offering :confounded

I have several Para3's that are the same size w\choil and complock and just fell in love with the Delica(ruining my love for the Para3) that's roughly the same size so, what's a fella to do? :scream

The G10 and LW models are going to be standard production thankfully so no need to feel like you'll be missing out. Also, I'd argue the Sage 5 is better than the Para 3 in a lot of ways despite being a similar size. I'd just wait until black friday personally. Likely to be a deal on these somewhere during that time and bound to be some seconds too I bet for Spyderco's seconds sale.

This one is so tempting, really want to try a Sage and REX-121, but I just got a neat 204p LW Para 3 which is very similar and want to save my money for the next neat Shaman.

Spyderco needs to stop making this many cool knives. Good luck to anyone who jumps on this one, I am very happy that this will be an in-stock item that I can pick up in the future.

Thanks Guts! The back half the handle looks similar to my beloved MuleTeam.

I agree on the Black Friday thing except I wanted a k390 stretch and just so happens everyone was sold during the sales. Maybe just a fluke but I noticed a lot of the good production knives are always not available or go quick. Now a seconds would be hot too. As far a being better than a para 3… I have to disagree but only because I love them 😁

abbazaba still wants to know: is there confirmation of the CQI pivot in the G-10 variant?

Well the blade has zero side to side play or lock play, and it freely swings open and closes with the compression lock depressed. It is exactly like a newer Para 3 g10 and Para 2 in that regard so I suspect it does have the CQI pivot. As an aside, the bevel grind is perfect and the blade is perfectly centered. :smiling-heart-eyes

Great looking knife, ii love the orange they chose. Dosen’t seem like a blaze orange but something that would fit in with fall in Vermont.
