Another day enjoying a "weird" hobby in the woods ;)

Three knives for throwing, one for amazing cutting performance...

It's nice having a Native in my pocket again.

A few years ago, I bought a N5 LW S35VN and loved the design, except I had difficulty deciding what edge type to get, before I had significant experience with serrations. I settled on combo edge which eventually killed the knife for me. IMO, the transition from SE to PE on the CE blade is in a terrible spot.

I think I would have liked it if there were only one large scallop and two small scallops at the back of the blade and PE for the rest of the edge. That may be a better CE configuration for the N5.

I gave it to my wife and she's enjoyed it for a few years now :).

Hmm I know it's just shadows and lighting, but this picture is making me think that a coated Ikuchi would actually be pretty cool!

Got an identical copy of this in the mail today. Debating which kind of edge to put on it to compare to this one. I was thinking a 40 dps microbevel with ultrafine rods and try slicing poly rope back to back against the 200 grit edge.

Suburban adventure with the HH Urban.
Not my horses, but this old farm and pasture is basically my neighbor. A nice and peaceful contrast to the city in the background.

i wish i got a stretch instead of the endura. I prefer a little more width for a fist grip.

I do like how it carries though; I rarely notice its there.
