What to get?
Yea ive seen those trainers and i know how dangerous real balisongs can be. Im not like "stupid" with knives like i dont try stuff if im not ready for (when i was learning to throw one of my daggers into the air and catch it i actually wrapped the blade in a tissue paper and secured that with tape so i wouldent hurt me self) now i actually can do it with out the paper. Personally i dont like trainers im not a collector i just have knives that are....."effective" i keep them well sharpened but only to the point where they can easly slice throgh a pop can....how much sharper do you need them? I think that collecting spidercos or any knife for that matter is pointless "Use them or loose them". Im assuming you were talking about the mclaren F1 when you said "F1" actually a guy not to far from me has a saleen S7! I think ill just get a spiderfly because like you and many others have said the Szabofly is a oddly shaped knife and you cant flip the knife with out the fingers. I have also seen the i think its Microtech but they are like 150 though.
i think you will be better of with a Benchmade then a Microtech, because the Benchmade BM has been the referencepoint for every new balisong that comes onto the market.

They have a special balisong forum where VERY knowledgable people are. Golnick, the moderator is someone who knows almost everything about the butterflyknife, and they will steer you in the right and safe direction, so you can grow in the flipping field
