Cool pic!!
And a knife I´ll most likely get again eventually (had one already), despite of it not having my favorite lock.

This thing on a hot Jersey Saturday.
This'll be the knife I take at the end of august to the island in NC. I'll be cool every other time I had to leave the knife in my room so it wouldn't rust...

Such awesome history, you are very lucky!Wartstein wrote: ↑Fri Aug 02, 2019 8:55 am
Actually it's up THERE ((yellow circle in the pic)
You know, I live in Salzburg, normally I avoid (like many locals) the (inner, old) city in the midst of summer. Then there is the Salzburg festival, and (too) many tourists.
Today I had to go there tough, and took the opportunity too hike the small mountains located right in the city.
On the pic in my previous post I am at the Mönchsberg (= mountain of the monks), looking down at parts of the old town of Salzburg
Here is a second knife-pic I took up there:

Awesome history, but even more so awesame mountains and landscape all around. PLUS: GREAT knife-laws
If you like and skip to page 833 of this thread, you can find a pic where you see the whole city from a mountain that´s a bit higher (and how small the historic old city actually is...)
If you ever travel to Europe, let me know, I can show you around. I´d even revive my old mountain bike for you, lots of great biking here too

Can't do a better pic right now and don't know if that's about what you were asking for..
As much as the Endela has perfect ergos for ME, it won't solve all of the issues YOU have with the Endura 4 style handles...

Decided to grind off the 20 degree microbevel and take this one to a 15 degree edge. Also polished it a bit and took the edge up to fine. Definitely feels sharper.

I have a feeling you are as much a SEA-guy (or is it OCEAN-guy in english?) as I am a MOUNTAIN guy...

I have a connection with the ocean but I love the mountains. I'm on the Savannah River right now in Georgia, USA. I'm not always offshore. Next job will be in the ocean.
