Having never used this knife before can someone help me understand the appeal? I'm having trouble seeing it personally but somehow it feels like I'm missing out on something haha
Excellent ergonomics. The handle is a lot like the Stretch and Mule, a nice general purpose shape that's secure in any grip.

Very nice size. Full grip behind the choil, but not cumbersome to pocket.

The grip while using the choil is wider top to bottom where the index finger goes, increasing comfort compared to knives that are thinner there like the Caly line.

The cobra hood makes the knife more comfortable to use when utilizing the thumb ramp.

The original was one of few models to feature an integral compression lock, not sure if it was first or the Salsa.

The original had slick stainless or Ti scales. The new version fixes that with the textured G10 grips.

The original had a pretty chunky clip that interfered with my grip. The new one doesn't.

I don't care for the tip design and might grind it to a more acute point, but it does give it a distinctive appearance.

Got one from Gpknives.

I’ve been waiting for this one.

My last 3 knives from other companies were all disappointments in one way or another.

No I haven't ordered one, just trying to get others to make it out of stock so I can avoid temptation hehe.

I placed a pre-order with BHQ in an excited frenzy, but I've since gone kinda cold on this. I've been carrying my original stainless serrated and I've begun to feel like I don't really want a G-10 plain edge. With the exception of the clip, I no longer expect to like this one more. My order has been fulfilled and it's on the way, but this may be my first ever catch and release. We'll see by the weekend!

Laid hands on a sample at the local shop today. Great blade and WAY lighter than I would have imagined. Svelte next to a Shaman.

Way to expensive. I see nothing here that should make it any more than a plain Jane PM2. If steel was more exotic maybe, but black g10, s30v, compression lock 3.5 blade. What am I missing? I like it and would like to have one but would never buy for that price. What a shame.
