The lightweight manix comes with a non-deep carry wire clip. Does anyone know if this clip is long enough to fix the pocket snag issue?

The Manix LW clip does work effectively, it falls in the same place as the foundry clip it seems:

I just reached out to SFO again referencing my order for the Foundry ClipKit with the shorter clip, and they're sending me the longer clip this week :) Another great CS experience!

If you're looking to get one, make sure you initially mention you need the longer clip before placing the order.

I'm going to try to obtain one of these clips soon. I hope they still have them. This pants snag issue keeps me from carrying this knife.

And that one 3rd party machined clip is $65!!

Yeah, and the RGT one requires modification of the stock Bowie screw in order to fit in the clip's hole and doesn't sit perfectly flush due to the curved scales. Otherwise, it's well made...but I wouldn't say it's '$65 well made'. Fortunately I was able to pre-order at a lower price and I've since sold it off.

So, an update on inquiring about the correct length Foundry clip. I sent an email explaining the one I received was a bit short and was falling on the lockbar cutout (as it would on the Foundry). I got a quick reply back that they still had the longer Foundry clips in stock and would send out out to me. When I got the package yesterday, it ended up being a LW Manix style non-deep carry wire clip. I'm wondering if I should've been more specific and for those of you that were reaching out about this, did you end up getting an actual Foundry clip? I'd hate to bug them a third time about it.

The clip you need is C160 mentioned previously. I picked one up today at the Spyderco Factory Outlet. I think it was $6.95. The guy at the store said that a lot of people were using them for deep pocket carry on the LW Manix2. I might get another one just for that. No more pocket snags with my Slysz Bowie. I'm leaving mine shiny. I like the contrast and it kinda matches the blade.
