Yes, a Delica in VG10 FFG with brown/coyote G-10 scales and a wire clip would be nice.

One hundred dollars Canadian is not a whole lot for a watch as I'm sure you know, here is my recommendation anyway.
You can usually get a Citizen watch on eBay for less than an equivalent Seiko. Here are two that I find attractive:

I'd like some discussion, even without pictures at some point and to see pictures of the prototypes at the latter stages of development to discuss the finer points.

An example of this was the interesting discussion brought up on the merits of the name of the Para Military and having it etched in ...

I think it may have been "confused" either the Police model has a plain edge or a serrated edge (spyder edge). There are also knives with both (50/50).

I wouldn't call them the best, but I use Globals too, Wusthof and Henckels. The best is what you can afford and what you use the most.

I'm left-handed and only buy knives I can open with either hand. I always thought it would be embarrassing or stupid if my "main" hand was busy or injured and I was not able to open my knife because their was no thumbstud on that side of the blade or the hole was blocked by the handle of the knife.

I'd buy the Mouse too if the scales were in G-10. A blue Mouse would be great!

tortoise & akbell,

How have the scales been putting up with the daily wear?
Haven't purchased this knife because of that- would really like to see it in micarta or G-10.

Sal, compression locks...

When will some of the older knives (like the Military) get compression locks?

Thanks for the reply Sal.

I take it the Temperance series is designed for right-handers?

What type of sheath will the Lum Tanto have? Will the sheath be left-handed friendly?

Sal, what knives are to be released in the next six months?

I've asked this about six months ago and ask it again:

What knives are scheduled for release in the next six months? I understand nothing is carved in stone.

Any chance of the Military Jr. being released this year?

The reason it may not be showing up is that Spyderco may have changed their server or whoever maintains it. The new address (even though it uses the same url) needs several days to propagate to all the ISP's.
BTW, I get the new site <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle>

BRAM, I know the Gunting is slowly trickling onto the market, but have yet to see the drone or videotape being offered- are they available?
I'd like to get the drone and videotape first before buying the knife.
