I have a Leatherman Supertool every day,

the Wave is good but I still like ST.

Used my Leatherman Wave to clear a jammed stapler first thing this AM. Funny how when they need something done, you're not "that wierd guy with the knives", but rather "that guy who always has the tools to fix anything".

I always have a Leatherman Micra on my keyring. The Crunch is part of my emergrncy ski repair kit because I like the idea of being able to use it as a clamp while epoxy sets and the built-in 1/4" drive takes a #3 Posi-drive bit for the binding screws. At home my original PST gets the most use. I'm still saving up for a Spyderench but I keep finding other Spydies I want more .

Other tools? Well let's see..... Shabaria in right hand pocket, Micra in left hand pocket, Gerber Multitool on belt... Photon light in watch pocket, Samsung digital voice recorder in shirt pocket, and Lamy pen in shirt pocket.
All just tools, but I would be lost without them! :-)

SwissTool. Why have those swiss engineers put those blades in that thing? I never use those.

Yes, I know it’s another knife but the tools I carry are in the Victorinox Soldier or Pioneer I carry every day in the left front pocket. This knife and its tools are used whenever needed for a task that might endanger the primary folder which is carried in the right front pocket.

The SAK alox handles stand up well to riding the pocket with keys and change. I’ve busted loose some tight screws with the SAK with no damage, and generally used them hard. They hold up really well. I just couldn’t bring myself to abuse my Spydies so.

I also reach for the SAK whenever I’m around the sheeple who “just don’t get it.”

Besides the Spyderco, I carry a Fisher Space Pen, a Photon Micro Light (in red so as not to screw up the night vision), and a small titanium screwdriver/prybar for those small prying jobs that look so tempting with my knife. I learned long ago a knife is the least effective and most expensive prybar you can own.

I am professional firefighter and having a knife on my person is very important. I carry a Remote Release clipped to my turnout gear in easy reach should the need arise to save my ***. I also carry 2 Gerber Multipliers, one in my bunker pants and another on my station wear belt. $ for $ they are the best working tool for the average guy.
