Try clearing out the cache in your browser then reenter the address to the site. I bet it takes care of your problem.

well, I went offline, deleted "Spyderco.com" from my Favorites, deleted all cookies, temporary internet files and history; I deleted the cache; I went to the control panel and into internet options, where I deleted any history or saved file info there; I shut the computer down; I started back up, emptied the recycle bin, then restarted. That should have gotten rid of anything old that would send me to the old site. Then I typed in www.spyderco.com into the browser window. You guessed it. Right back to the old site. I don't get it (literally) any suggestions would be appreciated. (Not from you sgtmike, I have my pistol but I'm mad enough, I don't need to break my Military.)

just read the thread Sal started about the new site. Gail mentions numerous urls to be changed over, etc. Some people say they get it, some don't and some say they didn't but do now. Is it possible that I don't have to do anything, just wait? -Like some areas/systems/providers have open pathways but maybe I don't yet?

Greetings!
Yes, the site is slowly coming up. I can't get it here at the office yet either, but I can see that others have visited the site. So, I know that it is still a work in progress. Again, patience amigos. Gail and I are probably more anxious then all of you put together She has worked long and hard on designing the site and I have put many hours myself into loading all the info. I truly believe that you all will be happy with the site. I will be monitering it daily and still have more info to add. So.......stay tuned.....same bat time......same bat channel

Guessing it's a DNS entry update problem. So until the DNS around the internet gets updated some might not be able to get to the new site. Bummer

Ok for those of you who can't see the new site, HAHA, ok sorry just kidding. No- really the site is so awesome. The opening flash of the lasercut spider is so cool. New pictures on everything, dealer side and SFO side. Nice job guys- it looks really good. All the hard work payed off.

The reason it may not be showing up is that Spyderco may have changed their server or whoever maintains it. The new address (even though it uses the same url) needs several days to propagate to all the ISP's.
BTW, I get the new site

How about someone who can get the site posting the IP address so we can enter that directly, rather than trusting an outdated DNS lookup???

Patti and Gail- GREAT job on the new site! Very cool!

I'm a computer idiot and I had the same problems as others are having... Here's what I did...

Opened 'Find' clicked on 'Files' Searched for 'files named' "Spyderco" 'containing text' "Spyderco" After I did the search, I simply deleted everything with an Internet Explorer icon. After that I manually typed in the Spyderco URL and voila! I know it's kind of a bulldozer approach but it worked for me! Trust me- the new site is worth the aggravation.
