Howdy, folks. I'm dusting off my old account to ask the question of questions: "Is there an outlet sale this year?"

I searched for info already but nothing came up on the forum.


(It's good to be back, by the way.)

I've had the Yo2 on my person every day for almost a year now. It's my go-to defense knife, I never tire of practicing deployments with it, and it's always a conversation starter amongst other knife people. I'm looking forward to acquiring another soon!

I carry an XD-40 that I bought new 11 years ago. Runs like a top.

That sound you hear is the sound of many people grinding down the blades of their UKPKs to fit...and then looking at the silly molded handle guidelines with amazement. o_0

Just heard back from my brother, who attended the sale. He was pleased, and I was shocked as all get-out to hear that he found me a YO2!

I believe Mr. Emerson's Order of the Black Shamrock has its own challenge coin as well.

After all this time, I'm finally getting to learn from Mr. Janich in person! Anyone else here going to the Post Falls, ID MBC class?

I'd be interested in one as well.

I've been registered for a while, but my forum activity tents to wax and wane with my disposable income and college load. I end up lurking from my phone and posting when I have days off. Now if I was able to use Tapatalk for the Spyderco forum on my phone... :D

I'll be gifting a Tenacious or two.

I believe they use it because it's a darn good idea ;) The reason they can use it has been hashed out on other forums. If you try a google search, you won't come up empty-handed. Bottom line, Sal had a great idea, and we celebrate that here without denigrating other knife companies. :) , Shiny ...

I'm very much looking forward to a Spyderco kitchen knife set! While boning out my deer last night I was wishing for a Spyderco boning knife.

Interesting thread. I'm sorry to hear that there will probably not be one this year, but I hope the issues can get straightened out and that it will happen in the future. I'm making a pilgrimage to SFO, regardless! Assuming they are open the weekdays prior to thanksgiving, of course.

I'm spending Thanksgiving in Boulder, so I will definitely be making a pilgrimage to SFO while I'm there (my first!). It would be just awesome if it happened to be around the same time.

I don't have a 9mm SC XD, but I do have the original full-sized XD in .40, and the .40 SC. I love them both, but I do like the full-sized one just a bit more.

It was the "cheaper than a 9" screen kindle to read all the PDF files for school, plus a web browser" for $99 that really made me sit up and take notice. Otherwise I wouldn't have even considered getting one at this point. Now, I really want one, darnit!
