I am a big fan of the paracord loop. Feed the paracord through the lanyard hole, tie the ends of the paracord together with a double fishermans knot, so you can adjust the length, then loop it through your belt & pass the knife end through the non-knife end so that your knife will hang securely off ...

Ayoob sprint question

I just got an Ayoob Sprint, and I have to say I'm pretty happy with it.

The opening/closing action was pretty stiff to begin with, with a bit of grit or something in or around the pivot. I lubed it with Rem Oil, and that helped a little bit.

And - given that I'm in Australia - so it's never going ...

The Yojimbo 2 looks really nifty & a nice evolution of the original.

What would be a reasonable price on the original Yo, & what have they been asking for on fleaBay?

I would say a Blunt tip assist or Rescue, with a loop of paracord through the lanyard hole & secured by double fishermans knots. Then the paracord looped through your belt. 15-20 inch reach of cord would probably be plenty, and you won't lose your knife.

I think it would be better if the orange G10 spacer was flush with the scales and squared off at each end.
While it probably works fine from a structural point of view, it looks like a giant orange jellybean got squashed in between the scales.

Awesome! thanks for the pics and glad to see it worked ok.

@Blerv - Not really an issue to void the warranty, as I would never send a folding knife overseas for repair or warranty issues, as it may get seized by customs on the way back in. Utterly ridiculous, but that's how it seems to be with ...

Got a zdp dragonfly2 on the way. :)

Just wondering if I would be able to swap the blade out and slot it into the scales of the Dragonfly FG g10 without having to make any adjustments?

Sure, Ed's Large persian style is pretty cool. I agree with having etched bolsters for better grip. Could be a repeating Spydie logo, that would look neat. Canvas or linen micarta would have reasonable grip. I think there are enough G-10 handled knives around, YMMV of course
