- Topic: Any Problems With Corrosion On Beadblasted Blades
- Replies: 6

I only have one beadblasted knife - a bm 975s. What I find is that a long day of perspiring leaves a little bit of tarnish on the knife. So does handling it alot. but, a wipe down with the wd40 when I sharpen it knocks it all off. In short, Yes it happens to me, but I wouldnt count it as a "problem".

The xd is a super design - I am going off the 45 tactical. I think that the pistol itself, plus all of the "xd gear" that comes with it, plus the springfield coupon, really make it one of the better deals out there. My single, insignificant complaint is that the trigger is not as crisp as I would ...

I have to agree with using a heavier lube. However, this might be worth a try: Using a smashed qtip, clean the entire knife, especially the pivot (to get any wd40 or other lube you missed). Then take some powdered graphite (I think it is available in better hardware stores) And apply in MODERATION ...

Just an fyi - I had a cqc7 that would act like it was going to fail if I put hand pressure on the spine. bummed me out beacoup. But, I took a dry qtip and cleaned the part of the blade that meets the liner, and lockup is super tight now. 2 months of nearly daily use, with one cleaning per week and ...

google Survival Sheath - this guy makes custom kydex rigs for everything from pistols to tomahawks (this is also a link off of Michael Janich's MBC page). Have not personally used this product, but the site is really neat as are some of the rigs he made up.

From mid april to late september here in maryland, the creeks are ripe for wading and catching crayfish. But, I lost a delica 1 about 4 years ago in the hip - deep mud doing this, so I had a neck sheath made up for my endura 3. I figure that if the mud is high enough for me to lose this knife, I ...
