The wood is actually Pink Ivory. Very hard and very dense. It polished up nicely.

I agree, the sheath looks great. Good work, Mike. :) David, I believe the leather strap allows you to thread a belt through it to give you a 'cross draw' angle to the sheath (although I could be horribly wrong as I've never owned such a sheath :o ). I've had the opportunity to handle the T-Mag and IMHO it is not what you would call a real "user" knife. I was quite suprised at how weak the magnet was. The "lock" is much less supportive than my trusty UKPK. I would go for the Sage. As a matter of fact, it's on my short list of...
